Registration of farmers will start from tomorrow
Faisalabad Chief Minister Punjab Livestock Farms registration for issuance of Livestock Card will start from November 5, 2024. Awareness has been provided about it, while facility districts have also been established in all veterinary hospitals and dispensaries.
This is a revolutionary plan of the Chief Minister of Punjab for cattle rearing farmers, under which interest-free loans from Rs.135,000 to Rs.270,000 will be given for five months as per eligibility criteria, he said. The application can be made online.The total loan period will be maximum 150 days and five months and the loan tenure will be 120 days and four months.The next 30 days will be one month. The owners will be provided interest-free loans through the Chief Minister Punjab Livestock Card.
The interest or settlement amount will be borne by the Punjab government for at least five cows and calves at the rate of Rs. 27,000 per animal. A maximum of ten cows per calf will be provided and a loan of Rs.270,000 will be given at the rate of Rs.27 thousand per animal.
