Introduction
Chief Minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, has inaugurated the e-bike program under the CM’s Youth Initiative. This event marked the symbolic handing over of the first electric motorbike to a college student from Jampur. Additionally, the CM launched the Vehicle Inspection Regime for Private Vehicles and awarded the first e-loader rickshaw manufacturing license in the province.

E-Bike Program and Second Phase Announcement
Maryam Nawaz Sharif initiated the e-bike program by symbolically giving the first motorbike to a student. She announced the second phase of this project, which includes plans to establish solar-powered charging stations in colleges and universities and provide motorbikes for orphan students. The government will cover half of the Rs40,000 down payment for each e-bike distributed under the scheme.
