Pakistan’s “Smartphone for All” initiative is bringing good news by making smartphones more affordable! Launched in January 2024, it allows citizens with valid ID cards to purchase smartphones ranging from Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 100,000 in interest-free installments over 3-12 months. This program targets students, professionals, and low-income individuals, aiming to bridge the digital divide and boost e-commerce usage in the country.

In Pakistan, which has the seventh largest mobile phone market in the world and where 190 million mobile phones are in use, the ‘Smartphone for All’ project will be head to head in terms of technology.
