The Government of Pakistan has introduced the Ehsaas Petrol Card as part of the Cheap Petrol Scheme, enabling citizens to purchase petrol at reduced prices. This initiative aims to support the impoverished population affected by inflation, making essential commodities more affordable.
To benefit from this scheme, individuals can register online through the 786 Web Portal or via SMS. Additionally, NG stations are now open for Ehsaas Petrol Card registrations, and physical registration is also available. This new scheme, Ehsaas Petrol Card Leap, offers subsidized petrol to Pakistani citizens, helping ease the financial burden on the lower-income class.
In addition to reopening petrol pumps, the Government of Pakistan will provide subsidies for various goods. As petrol prices decrease, the cost of other commodities will also reduce.
