Today marks the final day to conclude registration for the Punjab Bikes scheme initiated by the Punjab government. Quota for Male & Female Students
In the first phase of the scheme, a total of 1,000 electric bikes have been allocated. Among these, 700 electric bikes will be provided for male students, and 300 electric bikes will be provided for female students. Additionally, 19,000 petrol bikes have been allocated within the first phase, with 11,676 for male students and 7,324 for female students.
These bikes will be distributed to students studying in universities and graduate colleges in Lahore, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan, and Bahawalpur. Students from provinces or territories other than Punjab can apply for e-bikes if they are studying at any graduate college or university in these five cities. However, petrol bike distribution within Punjab will be based on a district-wise allocation according to the 2023 census.
