The signing ceremony was held at the Chief Minister’s House in Peshawar and attended by notable dignitaries, including Chief Minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur, provincial cabinet members Dr. Amjad Ali and Muzammil Aslam, and officials from the concerned departments and the BoK.
The initiative aims to provide interest-free loans of up to Rs1.5 million to low-income individuals for constructing new houses on owned land or renovating existing structures. The scheme operates on a revolving funds system with a total budget of Rs4 billion and offers a seven-year repayment plan, with monthly installments capped at Rs18,000.

Chief Minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur underscored the importance of this initiative, describing it as a pivotal measure to ensure access to quality housing for low-income families. On Wednesday, two consignments of medicines, including life-saving drugs worth Rs6.3 million, were successfully delivered to Kurram via helicopter. The Chief Minister instructed that these deliveries continue until normal road access is resumed.
