10000 more electric bikes in Punjab e-bike Scheme
Punjab e-bike scheme
Recently Punjab Government launched Punjab Bike Scheme in which 20 thousand bikes were given to students studying in Punjab. In which there were 19 thousand petrol bikes and 10 thousand electric bikes. Recently, a meeting was held in which Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif said that 10000 electric bikes have been approved.
In the first phase of the bike scheme, there were 20,000 bikes, the registration has been completed and the bikes are being distributed to the students who qualified through bolting during registration. Now according to the new update, 10,000 electric bikes are being included in Phase Two of the Punjab Bikes Scheme.
These bikes will be provided to the students in easy installments. This is a very good initiative by the government as students face difficulties in going to colleges and universities so they will own their own private ride.
